In looking at the lineup card, Hinch usually puts the SPs in their order for the upcoming rotation. Looks like he did bump Fiers to the bottom.

Starting pitching has been solid for the most part with DK back in ace form. We have avoided the bullpen blow up sans one game, but they did make a few interesting. Bats have really come alive over the last week to hit like we expected them to and give us more comfortable wins.

That might be the first time I've ever paid attention to it, but it feels weird to see Dallas referred to as DK. I know we don't retire initials like jerseys, but to me, DK is sort of permanently taken.

To be fair to them, there are a lot of baseball fans around who weren't really consciously aware of baseball when the Darryl Kile played for the Astros or even when he died. Hard to believe it was almost 15 years ago.

I tend to agree with you there, though. That's the first time I had seen Keuchel initial-ized, and it took me a second to recognize what was going on....

Precisely. We weathered the storm in the first week when the pitching was good but the bats were quiet. Now that the bats are alive, the pitching is still solid.
