He is 41, from Puerto Rico, and named Carlos.(sound familiar?)

Sparky talked to him for a bit.

Morton is such a different cat he's not all that great of an interview.

Maybe not a gem but he made some absolutely ridiculous pitches. His hook wasn't working like it always is, but was painting that FB beautifully.

So do Peacock and Morton go games 3 and 4 again? I think maybe we should give Lance a shot to start and then have Peacock ready to come in early. Lance was saying yesterday how uncomfortable it is for him to come out of the pen and didn't like it. Since Peacock is comfortable in that role it seems like it makes sense to start Lance and then even if he can only go 4 then Peacock comes in.

Mchugh needs to be on the roster for this series too, even if he doesn't start.

When your lefty specialist gives up more runs then not, he needs to not be there. We have other relievers who get Lefties out better then he can.

I may be missing something, but wasn't Liriano pretty good down the stretch?

I remember he getting his ish together and finally fitting into his BP role. Besides the HR Sunday I remember him being pretty effective as of late.

Yeah I'm looking at his game logs and the month of Sept he had 5.1 IP, 2 hits, 1.59 ERA (1 ER), .105 BAA, and 0.88 WHIP

Liriano has been great.

But that was a terrible move by Hinch. And I am not a Hinch hater at all.

That was not even a spot for a situational lefty, much less...Devers was hitting .400 against lefties this year. That was just a bad coaching move.

Oh I agree with that 100%. Thought it was way to early to bring in a lefty specialist against Devers. I would liked to see Devo come in there and see if he couldn't have gotten some good long relief (2-3 IP).

I was more addressing the hate for Liariano being on the ALDS roster. Looking at the recent numbers he was a definite add. Not sure why there was a big fuss that he was on the roster.

I also fully expect him to be on the ALCS roster as well.

I am a hinch hater but this goes beyond the normal sabremetrics stuff. Devers batting .400 against lefties really made that decision incredibly questionable.
