I honestly can't believe they fired that bullet.

I guess they figure if it goes 5 they can use Price as a long relief option but man that's tough to burn Sale during this game.

He got through one, which was pretty easy to see coming. Now he has to cool down and go sit and then come back out and face 3-4-5 and that's where we'll get him.

I think they're leaving him in for the bottom of the 4th because it's the bottom of the order. Not sure they'll let him see a third time through with the way the 1-6 guys have been hitting him. We'll see...

Exactly this. The feeling in my stomach says we're losing, but I keep looking at the scoreboard and we are up by 1.

Morton was filthy, that innning.

And I agree with the guys that are saying let's get him out before 3rd time through the lineup.

Maybe if you knew the game wouldn't get delayed. But I think you send him back out for the 5th, but with a very short leash.

Good point.

Again though I think a lot of it depends on this rain situation.

Would be a HUGE advantage if he could last until then. They'd have burned Sale with Price unavailable and we could go to Musgrove after the delay.

Morton has had better outings, but he has shown a lot of guts today. He has gotten out of some jams.

Time to get him some runs and see what he has in the 5th.
