IF our pitching can get us through 2 or 3 innings with less than 2 runs, I really think our offense gets us a lead and possibly a BIG lead.

I agree. I think you use Keuchel if need be, but not Verlander. He's reserved for a game 1 World Series win.

I think tomorrow is McCullers on a short leash, followed by Morton, followed by Keuchel, with Devenski for a couple batters if needed and Giles ready to close. I think if we have a lead with 1 run in the 9th, there's even a small chance Verlander comes out.

I seriously wonder if someone didn't threaten to fire every hitter if they didn't stop swinging at that thigh high fastball that was three inches off the plate. Severino has to start coming inside after that, and that's when the wheels came off.

Verlander just pitched a gem. He used his curve much more since the Yankees saw a ton of that slider in game 2. He was able to mix in that slider just enough to keep them looking silly. That seventh inning was just pure guts.
