Not at all.
The difference is the Rangers did not go to historical, record-setting levels of suck to have the success they did. Sure they had some pretty bad years, but they weren't done the first month of the season like Houston was during that stretch.
If you come out the other side with a championship then it's probably all been worth it. But until you do, your team will still hold that embarrassing label as one of the worst teams of all time.
