Why do people even pitch to Stanton?

Rumors are the Rangers are one of 4 teams that have interest in a trade. Was listening to the radio earlier and the word is Miami is just trying to unload most his contract and that indications were that it wouldn't take a Huge haul.

If this is true, would y'all trade Mazara for Stanton straight up?
