A: AJ Alexy (19, 0-1, 6.52) <- Guy from Dodgers\Darvish
A-Sh: Ragans (19, 3-2, 3.53)
The 3 young guys (YoMen, AJA, & Rags) are worth following.

I don't understand why ABD can't get his spot back? He was one of our better starting pitchers...
Are they worried about wearing his arm out? Or do they value him more as a long reliever?

Ross stunk up the joint. Cashner has been great for us, but Ross didn't pan out. I'd take 50/50 on " lottery ticket" players anyday of the week.

I think they value him more as a long man. He's a good story, but ultimately his stuff really isn't that great.
He's had 6 starts. 4 were really bad, and the 2 good ones he got some good fortune (0.143 BABIP against NY/Wash).

Your point still stands, but you probably need to throw Griffin in there as well, so more 1/3 on the lottery tickets.
If you take out the injuries, Griffin has been decent

Here is my question... How do so many scouts miss out on a guy who is drafted... and within 2.5 years starts his first full season and goes .326, 30 HR & 49 SB?! A .399 OBP and an OPS of .963. #2 in MVP votes.

Pujols looks like he is just a couple twinkies shy of being Bengie Molina.
Who cares about next season or 3 years from now? At this point, the only thing they should be worried about is winning tomorrow. IMO, ABD gives you a better chance of that.
Perez picked a great time to pitch a gem.
Nick Martinez has like a 24 inning scoreless streak in AAA. I know it's AAA and it's Nick Martinez, but it's semi-hopeful.
