5 in a row, 7 of 8 and back to .500. Lets go boys!
IIRC, Gallo was also a P who hit mid-90s?!MSFC Aggie said:jtstanley4621 said:
Ross has had one good start this year. No idea why he keeps getting spots in the rotation
Good question. Certainly there are other options (Gallo?......I kid). Is this one of those "let him work it out" type of things? The guy is horrible.
No idea. I'm starting to get concerned about him getting overworked. He's essentially the only bullpen member that I trust to come in and get the job done in high leverage spots. And he's gotten the job done over multiple innings as well. I hope someone can step up and lighten his workload.gigem1223 said:
Where would this team be if it weren't for Claudio?
Saw that he pitched last night and did well. But the writeup I read made it sound like it would be 1-2 weeks at least before making it back to MLB. Quoted him as being pretty tired after his outing (13 pitches); he also stated that he needs to work on back to back days, maybe even three consecutive days before deeming himself ready for MLB.AccidentProne said:
Diekman is on the way
At an average of 13 pitches per inning, he shouldn't be overworked very quickly.jtstanley4621 said:No idea. I'm starting to get concerned about him getting overworked. True, but it still makes him a better option that the ones that take 13 pitches per batter....vette said:MooreTrucker said:At an average of 13 pitches per inning, he shouldn't be overworked very quickly.jtstanley4621 said:No idea. 13 pitches per inning, but also think about what else goes into an outing, including warming up and mental fatigue. 13 pitches per inning certainly helps, but it's not the only factor

Another thing: I don't miss Lucroy one bit. Chirinos and Nicholas are filling in pretty well so far.
