He does seem to hit a LOT of solo home runs. Would be interesting to see how many times he has at bats with no one in scoring position compared to other plays. Or in this scenario, how many times he has "failed" to hit a sac fly.gougler08 said:
It's amazing to me that Gallo doesn't have a single sac fly all season.

385 plate appearances - 299 with no RISP.
15 plate appearances with man on 3rd and less than 2 outs - 1 homerun, 3 singles, 4 walks, 4 strikeouts. Other 3 times put the bat on the ball but failed to get the run in.

Ready to see Crouse start moving up the ranks. He's been plain filthy so far.
Clearly you have some inside information I don't. Where will he be pitching?TXAggie2011 said:
He won't be with the AAA club next year.
I would love to know the story/what was being said during this exchange.DallasAg 94 said:
In searching for the clip, I saw this (which I had to post):
The amazing thing is he's already tied Deer's single season career high in homers, and it's mid-August. I was looking up Deer and was surprised he only topped 30 HR twice in his career. I've also seen a lot of Adam Dunn comparisons, but he'll definitely need to up the average. Dunn, from his age 21 to age 30 seasons, was basically between a .240 - .260 hitter. That was another stat that surprised me. Thought it would be lower.MSFC Aggie said:

Sounds like you are planning on taking batting practice. You should be giving a clinic.AccidentProne said:
