If Leclerc really has remedied those command issues he could end up being a very nice option in the late innings. Impressive that he was able to sit down and come back and finish the job.

You probably haven't missed me, what with all the hand wringing and gnashing of teeth.

We moved, and probably won't get cable at the new house. This is probably the latest into the season that I've not seen\listened to a Rangers game since maybe college, where I'd dial in WBAP and on certain nights you could catch the static filled game on clear nights.

I was going to post last night, as I watched about an inning on gamecast. Lucroy, Andrus... then Gallo's triple. I didn't want to jinx anything. My post was going to be about how I picked a good season to miss, as the Rangers appeared to be headed for a tear-down season.

I was looking down on the farm, to see what me might have and was even more depressed. Yeah, I know the season is young.

And then the Rangers proceed to win. Leclerc! Gallo approaching the Mendoza Line! Profar with his 1st base hit of the season, BA up to 0.083. Things are looking great! However, I probably won't catch much baseball, this season.

I've touted watching\listening to over 130 Rangers games each year, since college.

Maybe they'll win the WS and I'll be convinced to never watch them again... you know for the sake of the team.

Awesome win last night. Only one walk and 22 of 35 Angels hitters were started with first pitch strikes. Add in Leclerc coming up big, Gallo legging out a 2 RBI triple, and Elvis having as many homers as the team has wins, and you get a strange start to the season... But a win is a win! Lets get the series win this afternoon with Darvish on the mound!

Here's a question.... If you're the pitcher and you know your defense behind is playing the shift against a left handed hitter, why on earth would you throw outside to said hitter? You're just begging them to do exactly what Odor just did. Interesting strategy, Cotton...
