Jake, through his small sample size, has an incredibly inflated fly ball %, but not because of lack of good contact. He's hitting the ball hard 50% of the time (4 out of 8 times he's made contact).
He just simply hasn't had enough at bats to judge anything off of. I still think he can be a .235/.300/.400 guy, which is better than Gomez since he's joined the Astros.
Plus, Jake has more range as a defender.
