Looking at all of the trades in their entireties, Gomez/Fiers, Kazmir, and Giles....the Gomez/Fiers one has been the most productive. How sad is that?

Yes. He's able to hit balls anywhere in the zone. But he's figured out that if he's more selective, he can get balls he can drive more than looping singles.

I was reading that his chase rate (% of pitches swung at out of the strike zone) is significantly better this year. I think that is the reason for the power increase. He will always have incredible ability to put the bat on the ball, but by being more selective, he is able to wait to get pitches to drive.

is scalping easy at Fenway? I want to sit behind the stros dugout but there isnt any on Craigslist.

Really trying to avoid buying fro a ticket website.

It is really a crap, old stadium. It's awesome because it's old and full of history, but it also kinda sucks because it's so old....

If you are going to Fenway and have never been, do your homework on seat selection. You want to be sure you don't get obstructed view seats. That can happen if you are too high up in certain sections. If anyone sits on the Green Monster, let me know how it is. I'm thinking of trying them out if I ever get another chance to go. I've sat in a suite, in RF and right next to the Pesky Pole. I like the atmosphere around the ballpark.
