you have to be such a moron to actually donate real money to that.

hate that Bregman is DH'ing, especially after his performance in the field last night. I also think being in the field will relax him more than sitting there thinking about his at bats.

having him behind Bregman would not be good. Rather have Valbuena behind Bregman so he sees more pitches.

And you cant move Gattis to 7 because Gattis, Gomez, Marisnik in a row is just awful.

It took Hinch nearly a quarter of a season to find what's working at the top of the lineup. Now we add some (supposed) talent in Bregman and it seems we don't know what to do with it.

Would have rather seen Bregman play 3B tonight and let Marwin DH. Or hell, even let Valbuena DH.

Bregman as a DH doesn't make any sense at this point.

We may be getting Hinched a lot down the stretch

Besides the Springer, Altuve, and Correa, Hinch really hasn't put out a consistent spot for the rest of the guys. It's gotta be hard for hitters to go from the 2 hole one day to the 7 hole to the 5 hole, etc... I might be a little critical of Hinch here on this, as he's done a great job getting this ship turned around. Just wish he'd find a lineup he likes and stick with it each game.

It's just that with some of these mix and match players their splits are crazy. Preston vs LHP/RHP for example or Gattis catching vs DH. DH Gattis in the 5 hole doesn't make a lick of sense but C Gattis is awesome so he's good for 3/4 with an XBH.

Plus we don't have a bonafide masher to hit #5 so it's hard to stick with a guy when you don't have a guy.

Bregman in the DH spot is odd, but I will say it's difficult to find where to play some guys until you find out what work best for them.

No you wouldn't. I don't think we will trade for him, but an aging late 30s player who will only play 2 more seasons

I don't think we should do it but a solid prospect or 2 would complete that trade.

Yea I think we could get Beltran for a reasonable price (assuming the Yankees remain in sell mode). He'd just be a rental cuz he's a free agent after this year. I just really like the idea of adding a veteran, switch-hitting power bat for the stretch run.

Valbuena is a good and established defensive player at 3rd base. I have no problem with Bregman at the DH if it means Valbuena is at 3rd.

I'd love to have him in our lineup. Perfect fit for what we need at DH and I think relatively cheap.
