Gomez, the no talent ass clown we had to deal with for a year now, is 4-29 since the ASB, 10-65 in July (one 3 hit game in there, never more than one hit in the other games) and is just flailing away wildly at everything again. Not a single ounce of discipline in his worthless body.

Rasmus's struggles are well documented. Our CF situation is bleak right now. I have zero hope Gomez is ever anything but a .200-.225 hitter again in his career. Gotta hope Rasmus returns to form.

I'm saying I hope Rasmus gets back on track because he's our best hope at Center. Even when he's struggling he looks better and is less frustrating than Gomez. They both deserve a lot of criticism, but Rasmus was on the bench tonight.

I can say it. Rasmus and Gomez both suck. Gurriel can't get here fast enough to where we can platoon them in CF. At that point you have this.

Yeah Colby is just in a funk. Had some good swings and a couple balls hit right at guys in the shift. Plus he had a nasty flu that messed with him a bit to put him in this funk.

Marwin would not be a great centerfielder. Marisnick hasn't been that bad of late.

With Marwin going back to pure utility. Castro should only see the field when he's catching on Gattis off days. His defense is not good enough to get him a consistent presence in the lineup.

Put Gonzo instead of Tucker and you have a line up. I'm ok with one bad hitter at the end due to his defense.

I don't know but here we are where we were back during our abysmal start. Can't get Gomez out until you can find a replacement that is actually better than he is.

Otherwise I'd be perfectly OK with ponying up and just and buying out his contract to just leave. You had your chance when you went down with a 'rib injury', but here is your 9M now just GTFO here.

Why does Rasmus have to be complete dog **** right now at the plate? He could help solve the Gomez dilemma, at least against righties. Right now, you're looking at a Bregman/Tucker, Marisnick, Springer outfield. I wouldn't mind rolling that out there tonight just to give the other two some time to reflect on their suckage, but that's not a solution. Even if you call up Kemp, we'd be taking a step back defensively and being a huge unknown offensively. We really need Rasmus and/or Gomez to figure it out and be serviceable, but Gomez looks like a lost cause and Rasmus just looks lost.

And now that we all want him gone again, you know Gomez will start tonight, go 3-4 with a HR, and then follow it up with a 2-20 streak.
