Went downstairs and just came back up. Sad to see I was correct, almost in two ways. Nearly worked a walk, then blasted a HR. Because, you know, it's acceptable to let a 400 year old Pujols have 6 RBI with homers in back to back innings. To say that our staff sucks outside of Hamels and Darvish is a massive understatement. This is somewhere between hilarious and depressing, I'm just not sure where. Injuries could be our downfall.

No. I just believe this team is no where near as bad as they've been the past few weeks. It's only a matter of time before things start falling for them again. It starts tonight.

I'm a "there is water sitting in a glass that makes up 50 percent of the available space within the glass" kind of guy. I hope you're right, because it's been really really terrible recently. And the stupidity doesn't seem to be going away.

I agree. But 6 freaking RBI from one player is just unbelievably terrible. I do actually think we'll emerge from this at some point, but things are annoyingly frustrating right now.

Profar has an odd approach of when his bat breaks or he koses it mid AB, he changes the type of bat. Each of the last 2 games, he lost an orange and switches to to black/light.

4 straight outings where Tolly has given up a run credited to him. Where's that eXtra RP some of us want?

My fear at this point is that the grocery list is getting too long. This team has got to do about 80% of the turnaround on its own. Trades will only help woth that last 20%.

Astros continue to get lucky. A's just tied it up and just missed a walk off homer. Crisp then proceeds to pull an Elvis and was tagged out on the base path.

You can trade for a SP and quality BP arm with TB, NY or Oakland. I would hope that's the plan. Do that and we'll be alright..... I hope.

Hopefully. But Martin Perez and AJ Griffin are both really struggling lately. They've got to find something again. Dont have to be dominant, but that's partly what I mean by 80% needing to be done on their own. This is more then a once every 5th outing and occasional BP problem. The team obviously showed it was capable, but damn, this is fugly baseball. And they've got to stop jerking themselves off on the bases.
