Washington was much better, notwithstanding your insistence he use a 3 man bullpen.

Okay, how about this: Chirinos at catcher, Elvis at short, Beltre at 3rd, Desmond in center and Profar at literally every other position. They can all just take turns batting

Yeah, there is not much doubt in my mind that they basically hired a Wash clone. Which you can definitely do worse. At least this Wash clone has some clue about how to play NL rules, although you wouldn't know ot by how he handled Tolly in Yu's start.

Because I don't want Mitch or Prince in the line up and Profar has played great at 1b. Odor is only 22, he's had a rough go of it lately but he will get better with experience.

I've always thought Washington played match-ups and seasonal performance at a different level than Bannister, which was something Washington probably learned cutting his coaching teeth in the Oakland Athletics organization.

Which TAG in true fashion just lets his booth partners that aren't former olayers drive it right into into a bridge embankment.

Odor has had a rough go of it always. Why people are just seeing it, or just seeing Moreland's huge faults...but I digress.

Fat guys that can't move end up at 1st base because the impact (positively and negatively) one can make defensively at first is a lot lower than you can make at other positions, including the middle infield.

Profar has been fine at 1B. Odor might be, too. Neither is particularly well-suited for fielding the position.


Call it a developmental problem with Odor, call it young age, but now isn't the time for that. Now is the time to put your best players on the field and give yourself the best chance to win. Profar is the better defender, and that's been the case since both turned professional.


I want both Moreland and Fielder out of the lineup, too. And I guess maybe you give Odor a shot at 1B and see if one of the outfielders can take up DH.

Yeah, migraines can have pretty similar effects as strokes, including slurred, nonsensical speech.
