Why would you not bring Hamels out in the 9th? At least till he gave up a base runner? Dyson hasn't pitched in awhile. Not sure if I like this against this line up.
On another note, why the **** does Bannister put Odor in the lead off spot?
Odor is a low OBP, mediocre batting average, mostly hits for power guy...
...he's an OK base runner but that is about the only thing he has suggesting he should be the lead off hitter.

Maybe if you have a high average guy in the 8th and/or 9th spot it makes a bit more sense...but in a national league park with a pitcher in the 9 hole and a catcher in the 8 hole...just makes Odor even more worthless at the top of the lineup.

Seager continues to kill the Rangers. Has K'd with the bases loaded and one out, and again with the bases juiced and nobody out.
Didn't watch the game but sounds like Hamels was Hamels. The team just needs to get their heads out of their asses. The Dodgers are 11-4 without Kershaw. No reason for us to be THIS bad without Cobra and even Holland
Glancing at the Mariners Astros game, and Seattle has 4 errors in 5 innings. Guess they sequenced those.

Plus a "lost in the sun" double that went in and out of the fielders glove. Could/should have easily been another error.

If Choo is deemed healthy enough to play the field in the next few days, I consider sending Mazara down and bringing Gallo up.
Potentially won't matter if Mazara gains Super 2 status, but if he's down for just a week or so then Texas gains another year of team control.

Would really like to see "good Griffin" tonight to start the series in Anaheim off... With Lohse pitching tomorrow and Perez on Wednesday this already feels like a series where we'll be lucky to win 2 and I just really hope we get at least 1.
I would like to think that Griffin can work himself back into form and get more efficient with his pitches and go deeper than he has these past couple of starts. At the beginning of the year he was probably our second best starter outside of Hamels.
Mlb network just had a discussion regarding a trade between the Rangers and Yankees. McCann and Chapman straight up for Gallo and Profar. Would you guys do it? I say hell no but they seem to think the Rangers should do it in a heart beat.
I too think that it's time to send Mazara down, but I don't think that Gallo has earned a call-up yet. I'd prefer Deshields get the call as he's been playing well of late, specifically with taking walks and getting on base. I also think that his skills are more advantageous to the organization in a bench role.
