How did they overturn that? Weather in Houston sucks and satellite is out. Saw the play and then they went to review. Just checked on atBat. There was nothing there that I saw to overturn the play.

to me it looked like beltre clipped the glove with his left foot as he was going in.

Pretty much. I don't like taking him out of the field most days and you never know how a guy will handle DH, but fielder has a big bag of sheet and Hanser is useless. I say you at least try it for a month

Not sure what happened, but it looked like Profar rounded 3rd and then looked into the Seattle dugout and smiled. Not sure if someone said something to him or what. Lots of former Rangers on the Mariners.

Sardinas, Cruz and Martin come to mind. Could have been Martin who is on the DL...

The fact it took 2 full frigging months of .190 with zero power just to get Fielder out of the 3 hole doesn't bode well for a bold decision like that.

At this point, I don't see how you don't let Profar spend a little more time and get a few more ABs.

Is Fielder able to play 1B, at all, anymore?

Give Profar 2 days at DH with Fielder and Moreland at 1st.

I just don't like the idea of giving Andrus or Odor any more time off than necessary.

Honestly, while it doesn't matter if he's mashing the ball, Fielder looks like he has put on significant weight. I don't know that he's a viable option in the field at all. With how Prince and Moreland are at the plate is be even more inclined to have Napoli back. Not a great average right now but he's hitting for power. I will admit though that I'm a Napoli homer. It was like Christmas when that trade happened for me last year.
