Holland will emerge a phoenix from the ashes tonight under the guiding watch of Lucroy. This will happen and I don't want to hear otherwise. Lucroy will stoke the fire that lights the Dutch oven.

The only question with Holland tonight is how many homeruns will he hit?

I don't necessarily think its a big game (not AL or division), but I do think it's an interesting game.

Reds are a bad team playing good baseball.

Holland's performance will be interesting to watch, he didn't light it up on his rehab assignment.

This is magical

Not a big game in regards to our standings, but a big game in regards to what our potential playoff rotation is going to look like.

Right now our rotation is Hamels, Darvish and a bunch of question marks. You can live with 1 question mark (Jekyll-Hyde Perez), but it's tough to roll out a "fingers-crossed" guy for 2 starts in a post-season series. Need Holland or Colby to come back strong, and tonight's the first night to get a glimpse of that.

It means Mr. Simpson is just writing a check for the Rangers part of his contract for the remainder of this year and saying "adios".

LSB seemed to imply that the way the rules are setup that it is difficult (or maybe not possible) to sign him to a minor league deal in the off-season if he is waived that same off-season so that is why they did it now instead of waiting until after the season.

Interesting moves. I wonder if this is related to offseason DL count. If The Desmond reaches FA, we have a spot for Rule V protection. If we are about to sign Desmond, releasing Hamilton keeps us the same.

Right before expanded rosters.

Minors are done in 8 days, so Toll basically finishes a week early, since we aren't headed to playoffs in RR or Frisco.
