Now, I do want someone to riddle me why Claudio gets the call in that situation.
He a left hander without a strike out pitch, so you bring him out against a switch hitter and a right hander with runners on first and third?
And yes, I know his very small sample splits this season say he's better against right-handers...but you have to have to someone out there that can get a strikeout against a right handed hitter in that situation.
He had struck out all of 9 of the 48 right handers he had faced during his MLB career coming into this game.

Ball hung up in the air, Hamilton would have had plenty of time to get in position.

He got sent back up to Round Rock for 2 days and while he had 3 hits in 2 games, got back to striking out.
I'm sure he'll come around but he was rather poor in AAA- the most analogous to MLB league we've got.

Hamilton really tattooed that ball. Unlucky it went right to the pitcher. However, he looks to be the guy that just knows how to get runners in
And sorry, Kasey, I didn't mean to be misleading about Josh's minor league performances.
Josh's bat speed looks fine. If he can hit 0.260+ with just the threat of power it makes this a pretty salty lineup.
Bullpen just not reliable though, and not sure where the help is going to come from -- even if we do get 1 or 2 of Perez/Holland/Harrison back, there's really not any starter you can effectively push to the bullpen.
