And what's the thinking in having off today?

We get all amped up to finally get some baseball then we get a random day off in the middle of a series and have to wait until Wed to ride the wave.

The last 3 innings at Minute Maid were money. Great atmosphere, great crowd (haven't seen that many fans at a game in 10 years).

What was the total attendance last night? Opening Day 2013 and 2014 seemed busier.

Heard it was the 6th largest turnout ever for MMP

And did anyone see on TV the fan of the game bit? Guy down along first base line is watching the game with a kid and she says 'We hear you're rowdy tonight and havin a good time. The fans around you say you're hilarious. You're our fan of the game!!'.

His response was 'Well I'm on my 15th beer right here and I'm out here enjoying the weather and the game. I met this little guy here today and he's at his first Astros' game. We're just havin fun. I love the Astros.'

Thought it was a great response.

Box score says 43,753. Upper deck was probably 75% full.

Anyone else at the game see the kid flipping off the Dance Cam? Thought that was hilarious

Of course the diamond seats were 50% empty

I thought the new timing rule worked well. Nice to have quick 2 1/2 hour games. (There was a clock over CF counting down from 2:45 between innings).
