I think we will get another pitcher, probably a #3 starter or so, and then a 3B/1B kind of guy. Either through FA or trade

Valbuena will play 3rd as a filler until Moran is ready.

He hit .249/.341/.435 compared to Dominguez .215/.256/.330

I like the upgrade there. And keep in mind Fowler was leaving after this year so we got something for him while we could.

Exactly, wtf . I also thought Luhnow liked Fowler for Springers development and he was a good clubhouse guy.....

This was a deal to save money. We definitely aren't done. You don't free up that kind of money to sit on it.

Plus, we got an insurance policy at 3rd base.
