With two outs, rangers get a single from kouz, walk from mitch, a error by the SS, a wild pitch which ties the game, then a bloop single by Martin to win it.

Pitiful!

Rangers down 2-1, bottom 9th. Seattle closer gets 2 outs, gives up a weak hit, a walk, then E-6, bases loaded; wild pitch to tie, Martin game-winning base hit.

And the shortstop error was bad. Reeaaaal bad. Really routine play.

The bullpen is really bad.

My analysis of Scheppers having not watched him today.

I think he will make a fine SP. He lacks the confidence and ability to adjust quickly. That is the result of being a RP.

His 1st game opened terrible from overall confidence and nerves.

The other GS... he has done well through the order once. The 2nd time... teams adjust to his having seen him and predictability. He gets rocked. He nibbles and pressures. If he makes it through he ultimately can adjust and recover, but that is usually after he has lost the lead and he has no pressure other than to just remain in the game.

He needs to get sent to RoundRock for some grooming on getting through the order and adjusting.

IMO, this is just mental and likely needs to get it together in RR and not moved to the BP. 2015!

BTW - Harrison's call-up appears to have been moved to May because of weather (cold in Arkansas, rain elsewhere) and inability to get in games.

Scheppers may get the gap games.

Saunders appears to still have some residual affects from being hit on the leg.

Ross has nailed down his role as a SP, at least for now.

Noesi is in that role of "just happy to be on the team."

He is the long-man. We know we have some concerns in our rotation.

Ogando and Soria are battling over Closer. Feliz has done well in AAA, so he may return.

Frasor and Cotts are good for an inning or so.

Figueroa and Tolleson are largely unknowns.

Nick Martinez has returned to Frisco (AA) as expected after starting in the rotaiton.

For Noesi, it is just about innings and preserving what pitchers we have for the roles they are suited.

I do home office... I might be sampling the Easter Wine...

And to make sure I'm being inclusive... it might have been Passover wine.

Noesi is so bad the Mariners have 4 starters on the DL and still DFA'd him. Get ready for his awesomeness on 0-2, that's when he really shines.
