Man, I know that I don't get to watch as many Rangers games as I would like but I honestly don't remember ever hearing Robinson Chirinos name before last night. I don't remember reading it here or in any writeups or Newberg reports or anything.

Strange. Apparently played in 20 games last year.

I'm pretty sure I saw Beltre definitely out today because he came back to Texas for an MRI. He played most of last season on one leg so I'm confident he'll be ok even if he has a lingering injury, but it sucks to see it start in the second week of the season.

Chirinos was a pretty unheralded guy, but he might be the best everyday catching option they have right now.

No, but I'm used to it from those guys.

I guess I assumed since Choo was so great at getting ON base that he was competent once on the bases. So far it does not seem that is the case.
