Mitch Williams wrote a great article the other day about why he thinks Texas is the best place for Fielder. He argued that Fielder would be smart to take a five year deal from the rangers for a little more annually than looking for a ten year deal. He said that after that five years in Texas, he would most likely have at least one, if not a couple, world series titles and could position himself for an even better pay day, a la Pujols. For some reason, I have this feeling that the rangers will work something out for Fielder and that Fielder would really like to play in Arlington. I'm not sure why, but that's the vibe I get.
