We could still get 163 with Cubs/Brewers both clinched playoff spots...and then play each other again in the NLDS.

When you play something like 30 games in 31 days to close out the season and lose your top setup man and closer you start to put square pegs in round holes. Several buddies keep telling me the Cubs are choking once again. I disagree and stick by the original rationale. I sincerely hope they score 7-8 runs in each of the next few games, but I am not holding my breath.

They have won the past 2 series...... granted way behind the 8 ball on this series just to split. And The Brewers are playing very well. Call it a choke if you want, call it a tired club, but whatever it is, it's a hell of a division race.

This team isn't going anywhere with this bullpen. Epic fail by Theo and co. not to have assembled a more dependable / dominant pen.

Yes and then the loser hosts the WC game on Tuesday. Dodgers and Rockies could potentially be playing game 163 on Monday too to decide who wins the West and who goes on the road for the WC game.
