Only question I see for the lineup tonight is who catches. For me, it's gotta be Ross. He's had the better glove, arm and bat. I trust his presence more in a game 7 of this magnitude.

I really hope he doesn't change with lineup except for putting ross in the catchers spot. If he doesn't start Ross, I would hope that he's ready to put him in if Contreras swings at stuff like he did last night.

it sounds like they will keep Contreras with Hendricks...but with all the talk of Lester being available...they'd have to double switch Ross in with him.

I wouldn't be upset with Hendricks to Chapman for as far as he can go to Lester to slam the door.

You know it will be Kluber through 3-4, then Miller/Shaw/Allen for the rest.

Seems like a really bad idea when he's had Ross all season...and Ross is still on the bench. In the end, what's the upside? By the time this happens in the game, you'll have seen Contreras bat and know where his head is at. It will also be against Miller/Shaw/Allen by that point in the game.

I'm 99% sure Ross missed at least 1 Lester start when he had a concussion earlier in the season. Just because Lester prefers throwing to Ross doesn't mean you have to change catchers for an inning or two of relief.

Yes, he did catch him a couple times because of a Ross injury, but we really are splitting hairs. If everything was totally fine, Contreras would have caught him a lot more...

My point is just that Contreras hasn't done enough to warrant staying in the game. Sure, if he's taking good at-bats, I consider it.
