How are you coherent? The man is a myth, legend for the amount of beers he can / has put down on flights.

I was about to say the same thing. A buddy of mine knows him and I met him once. When I met him he was quadruple-fisting Miller lites. The next day my friend went with him to a charity baseball game. When he saw my friend drinking a beer in the dugout, he sent him up into the stands to get him a beer so that he could drink on the field (albeit out of a Gatorade cup from the dugout).

After the game he was telling stories to the team in the locker room. My buddy (who is a fast drinker) said Wade drank a 6 pack in the time it took him to drink his first beer.

My buddy was also at his charity event that he has every spring in Tampa. My buddy's was specifically tasked with the job of getting Wade from the back of the room to the front of the room to give his address. He needed an escort to keep him moving. In the time it took to get from the back of the room to the front (maybe a 100 yds), Wade drank 8 beers. He would stop at a bar station, get drink two beers, and get two more for the walk to the next station.

He and another friend have also drank with Will Clark. Supposedly he's the same way with Coors Lights.

Wade is going to be dead in ~5 years.

As long as he drinks nothing but light beer, I think that all he has to worry about is a beer gut and persistent beer farts.

I'd be less concerned about the beer killing him than the fact that he ate fried chicken before every game....and he played a looooong time
