That's the problem. Both of those should have been comfortable wins. We have blown a double digit lead ever game. This time it was 29 points. Next time it'll be 15+ again. Mitch has no idea how to coach with a lead. Just sits back watching us chucking up threes when we win if we just score a 2 every 2-3 trips down.

This team is way too inconsistent for me to believe they're going to run off 3 wins. They've had a double digit lead in the first quarter of every game and are down 3-1. They just do too many sloppy things to not lose another one.

Mitch has been horrible in late game situations. The end of game plays out of timeouts have not worked

Get up by 29 raining in open 3s. The 3s start to miss and the team loses all composure and plays some truly terrible offense for about 15 minutes

How is wemby as the biggest guy in the court standing there flat footed 8 feet from the basket just watching the rebound and tip in? This is as much on him as Fox. Make your two FT and give some effort down the stretch.

That was ridiculous. The next to last Spurs possession was criminally dumb when he could have held the ball. Then the lucky tip in. I'm sick of hearing from all the people in my NY office. Tomorrow will be horrible.

Spurs when missing shots act like a 15U AAU team. Just start jacking up quick 3's while up 29 instead of eating a little clock every possession and playing defense. Instead of slowing down and running actions for your best player or actions that get you to the FT line.

Complete choke job by the whole team.

Wemby can somehow be the best player in the NBA and a JAG all in the same game.

He seems to miss a lot of layups for a guy as big as he is.

I'm still in disbelief of what just happened.

I thought we had taken full control of this series.

Now we've choked away not one but two games.

I'm talking about the tip in for the Knicks. Go watch the replay. Wemby just watches the shot and stands there watching everyone try to rebound. If he makes any sort of effort to also rebound that tip in doesn't happen. He quit.

We literally win if we just dribble the ball to the end of the shot clock and make the same basket we did. Instead we jack up threes 5 seconds into the shot clock, and Mitch never did a single thing to stop it.

No, but he let the team launch 3s while up 20+ points. Strategy didn't change much when in the bonus. Milk the lead when up that much. A 20+ lead given up in the fourth will generally fall on the shoulders of the coach.

Or maybe this is just what it looks like when you're trying to coach a bunch of 21 year olds in the NBA finals?

I'm not even a Spurs fan and I think it's NUTS how so many of you are discounting the fact that this is the youngest team to ever be playing in the championship game/series in the history of American professional sports.

It was a choke job, but most of the three pointers we missed were wide open Champgne has multiple wide open threes in the second half and missed. Like 1-7 from three. That cost us the game. Knicks shot 47% from three compared to our 40%

Spurs win game 5 so NY wins at home in 6. I told my buddy from work today that's Knicks fan. He still thinks they screw it up. I'm sure he was devastated in first half.
