Amazing win. Castle, Harper and Bryant may have been the 3 most important players although Kornet has an argument..... absolutely amazing young core!

Dylan and Steph will get most of the shine which they should, but CB was OUTSTANDING defensively in the 4th.

Hell of a way to bounce back! Everyone will talk about Castle and Harper (rightfully so), I want to point out how unbelievably good Bryant was on the defensive end tonight. Kid is special and when he figures it out on the offensive end, he's gonna be sooo good.

So when all yall losers wake up. The story is this team didn't quit and several guys stepped up. Harper, Castle, Bryant, and Kornet were the story for me. But Keldon, Vassell and Fox had moments too. Mitch even did a little coaching.

Wouldn't mind seeing Plumlee/Olynk in there next game if Wemby is still out to give some hard fouls when they drive down the lane.

100%, Bryant pitting the clamps down was a primary reason that Portland's offense turned anemic

Went to bed at halftime and wasn't feeling very optimistic about the outcome of the game. Sooooo happy to wake up to us basically getting the series back to where it should (tho we should be up 3-0).

Living on the east coast suck ass sometimes
No matter what!

I missed a pretty great 4th quarter. But I kept my sleep schedule intact.

Last night the Rockets had the ball AND a 6 point lead with 30 seconds left and lost.

Also Bronny James outscored the entire Rockets bench.

I watched that unfold in real time - crazy bad. Speechless bad.

The Rockets are so dysfunctional it's not even funny, and thereks strong undercurrent rumors Durant is emotionally checked out.

I don't think it is a rumor. Durant showed up at the game but didn't even sit on the bench to cheer on his teammates.

Dude is a toxic loser that only got two rings by coattail riding Steph.

Amazing how with Wemby, Castle, and Harper, Spurs got the best player available 3x in a row and all three have that Spurs mindset.

Last night Harper was the second youngest player to score 20 off the bench in the playoffs (after Kobe) and also Harper was the youngest player ever to have 25/10 in the playoffs.

Fox hasn't been playing well but old man Harper is still a fan.

I'd still move Fox for the Wagner brothers.

I'll have to let KOC know you wanted Scoot over Wemby for a while there so he has something to clap back with. He probably stayed up until the end of the game, too.

So if Wemby is cleared to play, do you risk bringing him in too early or do you roll the dice and see if the guys can win game 4 without him?

If he's cleared it's business as usual IMO.

I trust that the Spurs will not bring him back too early. They have always been overly cautious, especially with Victor. If he's out there, it's because he's ready.

If he's cleared to play by the NBA medical staff as well as the Spurs medical staff, it's not rolling the dice

My gut feeling is he is playing tomorrow. No way the Spurs medical staff would have him get on the plane if they weren't planning for him to play in one of these two road games.

He's at the last stage of clearance because he's doing hard exertion physical activities.

He wouldn't have been able to fly if he hadn't made it to a certain level through the protocol

I think it's more likely than not that he plays on Sunday

I'm always amazed that people who get paid money to cover and write about the NBA have so little knowledge about basketball. Kon is just the most recent version of a player like Dennis Scott, Dan Majerle, Dell Curry, Luke Kennard etc that are GREAT shooters that absolutely do not have a ceiling above players who can create and initiate offense for themselves and others. It's really easy to be seduced by his great shooting percentage, but his entire value is derived from having someone else set him up, and you have to hope the other team doesn't put a real defender on him. Kon could give you 30 one night if everything goes right, but he could also give you 5 points if the other team game plans for him. I want a guy who can give me something consistent and who can counter defensive game plans and create offense.

Maybe he's got Ray Allen potential, but I don't think we saw anything that looked like that this year. In the few games he played against real competition, Kon was a net negative. I think his ceiling is something like Desmond Bane or Michael Redd which isn't bad, but Dylan Harper has HoF potential for his ceiling and the ability to put an entire offense on his shoulders as a rookie on the road. Instant over reaction is that Harper should start over Fox, but I like the idea of letting him be our Ginobili and help have our second unit just decimate other teams. Fox can't mess things up too bad playing alongside Wemby and Castle and putting Harper out there with the starters just minimizes his usage rate as he has to defer to those guys right now. Let Harper be the alpha when he's in.
