A lot of these contracts are very movable and desirable trade assets in themselves. Not to mention all of our draft capital. The Spurs are in very good shape to improve the roster through multiple avenues. I could only imagine what Pat Riley could do in this position. That was a pretty awful draft, though. After Primo, there was Sengun, Trey Murphy, Cam Thomas and Herbert Jones. Jalen Johnson (ATL) looks great this year after being pretty awful his first two seasons. Primo showed a lot of promise and was the youngest guy in the draft. He's just a year older than Victor. Primo in GLeague this year for the clippers is putting up 20p4a4r on 50/39/77 shooting.

It was definitely a weak draft. But every knowledgeable spurs fan and analyst had Sengun going to the Spurs due to his potential fit with the team. It's one of those rare times when everyone could see it and they ended up being right.

I thought Primo was turning out to be a major steal. He also has long arms and played an aggressive style of defense that was rare for someone as young as him. The day he was cut I jumped on a facebook live fan show and people were crying like crazy.

The more I read/watch film on Alperen Sengun, the more he grows one me. I think he's probably my favorite prospect that we have a reasonable shot at having at 12. He has such an incredible feel for the game at a young age, that I think he's one of the surest things to be a solid NBA player with the potential to be all star caliber or better.
