It's sort of a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation, but I am thinking we go the other way. We need to prevent easy baskets better. Boston was 15/15 at the rim in game 1. League average at the rim is like 65% and Mavs have done a good job all playoffs of keeping teams in the 50-55% range. Boston's twos can't be so easy. You just have to hope they shoot 35-38% from 3 instead of over 40%.beatlesphan said:

This a good point I also saw in some articles. But most of our problems were on offense. Boston had shot about 38% from 3 when the Mavs took out the important players. Kyrie needs to show up from the jump, which he has typically done after a bad game. PJ and DJJ need to be much more locked in. DJJ was absolutely embarrassed by Brown and KP when he tried to score near the basket.

He has been listed as questionable for every game with there never being a doubt he would play. Only notable thing I noticed was "chest" was added to the list of injuries. Hadn't heard anything about a chest injury before today.FDXAg said:

Boston games always feel like the dam is about to break. You're just waiting for them to hit 4 threes in 2 minutes and take a close game to double digits.
Feels like they're toying with us, I really don't think they believe we can score enough to beat them over 4 quarters.
