Maybe it isn't happening...I know Simmons was on an All-NBA third team, but don't think he is an All-NBA caliber player with his offensive ineptitude. Philly could win the East right now if they get Harden. It seems like the Simmons relationship is damaged beyond repaid and I cannot envision them getting anyone better than Harden, but who knows.

I agree that Harden is probably the best player they can get back at this moment. But to me, the Nets getting Simmons +thybull + ? would balance their team. They could be elite at both ends. If this trade was made I would still put Philly behind MIL, BK and MIA.

For both these teams, it depends on what version of the player they are going to get.

At least for the Nets, they do not have to do any contract negotiations with Simmons in the immediate future.

The sixers are going to really have to debate the automatic mindset of giving the superstar the max if he opts out of his $47 mm player option next season.

Not sure if anyone else has this, but in watching these college tournaments (and then March Madness), I'm reminded how much better players are at the NBA level and how much more open the NBA game is.

Durant is such a *****. Can't win at okc so go to an already an established GS to win titles. Can't win in Brooklyn so give up and ask to be traded to a couple of teams that are good enough to win it all without him. Trade his ass to Cleveland.

I love it! Everybody going crazy because Holmgren was dominating Tacko Fall in his first summer league game. Now he's getting completely bullied by undrafted free agent Kenneth Lofton Jr. 6'7" 280 out of La Tech and Pt. Arthur.
