They will Continue to close on any one not named russ. He has to make them pay by driving

Down by 21 at one point and beside PJ and Gordon, nobody played great. Anthony Davis was a monster.

Yeah this series will be determined by Westbrook minimizing turnovers and being smarter with the ball. Driving and not jacking up 3's

I can't help you if you think that was a good performance from the Rockets. They shot the 3 well, but Russ looked terrible, they gave up way too many fast break points and points in the paint. The defense looked lost and gave up a ton of wide open looks. I give them credit for hanging around until the end, but I feel like through 2 games the Rockets still have not played all that great. Which is nice because this series is all tied up. Need to see more consistency in game three.

The concern is Tucker, Covington, and Harden went 12/23 from 3. That's a good shooting game wasted for a below average shooting team.

Of course the Lakers got lucky. They shot 44% from 3 overall; that's why they won. The problem is unlikely guys like Morris went 4/5 and while he's "due" to brink the next 10, he might not even take a shot at all this game or the rest of the series.

Returning to the mean would suggest a high 20s three point percentage night tonight for both teams. That's alarming for Houston.

Unfortunately, after a couple of those boards he was so wild he ended up turning the ball over. I forget which ESPN guy it was post-game Sunday night, but they said he needs to "just slow down" and they're absolutely right. It seems he's pressing and trying to go so fast he either makes a sloppy pass, takes a bad shot, or just turns it over.

I understand the Russ hate as of late, because he has outright STUNK!

It only takes one game for him to get hot and he can really help with dribble penetration and passing to our outside shooters or just slicing in the lane to score an easy two.

I hope he can make a difference in the game tonight, because the Lakers got going in game 2 and I don't want to see that continue.
