Harden is a game 1 master.

I believe in his mentality and mindset. I don't question anything in the head. He has a brilliant mind; he's bought into analytics more than any other player and he never gets credit for that.

I still question the fitness. It looks like he can get by anyone on the Lakers. But driving is hard and tiresome, I really question if he has 5 or 6 more games of doing so on his body. Hopefully we didn't see his best shooting game of the series.

In terms of getting lucky, they only outshot the Lakers by 7% from 3. The Rocket's supporting cast can certainly shoot better. Russ only got to 41% from the field.

Not just drives, but his step-backs too. Jumping away from the rim while getting enough on your shot to get all the way there takes tons of energy

They've been playing every other day for entirety of the playoffs. If his Game 7 disappearance was a fitness issue, why wasn't he as bad last night? He didn't get any extra rest.

I think it's entirely in his head and nothing physical. You can have an excellent basketball mind/IQ and still crumble under the pressure of an elimination game (which he normally does)

They r basically playing a zone at the top. Sagging off opposite harden. Pringles needs to adjust

This definitely has a "the rockets will not go up 2-0" vibe to it. We are sloppy, they're playing way more intense and hitting shots, and the refs will clean up the rest.

I'm so tired of us penetrating and automatically looking to kick out. So many missed 3s and turnovers when there's a lane to the basket.

Also can't blame this on the refs. They're not shooting lights out and forcing us to throw the ball to the Lakers

Our guards are getting in the paint but want nothing to do with that Lakers front court. Can't blame them. So then we dribble around and then throw lazy cross court passes. For playoff basketball, it's some of the worst I've seen in a while.

And when the shots aren't falling and the turnovers are rampant this is the result
