I'd say he was the most skilled center of all time. He could do things that no other center ever has been able to do. The footwork. The shooting touch. Steals, blocked shots, rebounds, ppg, assists - all in one player.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.
He was the most complete package. Hard to say he was the best ever with Wilt standing in the way but I'd put him a solid #2. Ahead of Shaq. Ahead of Kareem. Again, the more complete package.zooguy96 said:

No thoughts on the Tillman/Trump exchange yet?
I've watched that shot so many times, but I never really paid attention to the contributions of the other guys.
They pull a trap on Kenny and he does a great job calmly navigating it. Then Big Shot Bob throws an incredible pass to Mario. That pass is freaking amazing and probably won the game as much as the shot did. Horry was so freaking clutch.

Really interested to see what player conditioning and shape looks like for these guys. I'm sure it would be pretty uneven if the season were to restart next week, so I bet these guys will be able to work themselves back into condition in the next month.
But I swear in the pics I've seen, James Harden looks to have shed 25 pounds.

I heard Eric Gordon is feeling great and has shed a good amount of weight too
July 31st seems like forever from now but I am glad that they are going to try and play again this year. Really want to see where this small ball experiment is going.

Rockets got a secret weapon: strip clubs have been closed down for two months, and there's no night life in the Disney bubble. As a result, Harden is in great shape and will take out all that frustration on the court.
Also, he's accused of choking in big moments on the road? No opposing fans to get in his head. I think we might surprise people as a 6th seed.

100% this. I find it hard to imagine James playing under a real disciplinarian. It would also be a rough transition from a Dantoni's offense to a Thibs offense.Ags #1 said:

Seems like it would be a weird fit. Are we even sure that Pringles is on the hot seat?

Tom Thibodeau is a terrible head coach and would be a terrible fit in Houston. The way he lost that Wolves lockerroom was an all time embarrassment. However, I will say he is probably the best assistant coach in the NBA. Some guys just aren't built for the big gig and he's one of them.

Thibs had a great run with the Bulls, but faltered when he took over the Twolves (arguably the worst ownership group in the NBA).
Reminds me of Pringles. He had a great run with suns, but faltered when he took over the knicks (arguably the worst ownership group in the NBA).
I think there could be a universe where Thibs could be a phenomenal fit for the Rockets. If he just let's James and Russ create, while instilling his strong defensive fundamentals we could greatly improve. We could also implode, but that might happen regardless of the coach.

The Rockets put this out tonight and it brought back some great memories. That 17-18 team was so good and really fun to watch.
