Harden shooting 31% from the field in January. Easily his worst month so far...

We are in a funk losing 3 of 4. No better time to break out of it than a prime time Saturday night game against the Lakers.

Hate to say it, but it really is starting to feel like the '15-'16 season at this point. I may tune out of actually watching games until there's a roster change.

I think it's too early to make this comparison. That team struggled to stay around .500, Dwight was a cancer (I know, shocker), we fired McHale giving Bickerstaff his first shot in the big seat, and James didn't seem particularly interested. I don't see the same locker room issues that team had with this team.

We may not be talented enough to be a championship contender this year but we are a decent team that can still make some noise in the playoffs. Not to mention that team was a beating to watch, we have had some rough nights over the last few weeks but this team is still entertaining most nights.

The Rockets are not the best team in the West, but it doesn't mean they can't emerge.

It is easily within the realm of possibility that Kawhi/PG and Anthony Davis are injured during the playoffs.

To me there are 5 teams that are realistic to come out of West and Houston is one of them (But that's an outsider's perspective)

If the Golden State all star team still was together, I would probably be throwing my hands up by now. But it's a whole new dynamic and every team is beatable now. Just get us to the playoffs and who knows what happens. I like our chances.

This team won't do anything. We have a weak, mentally challenged center who gets dominated by every opponent. We play literally 0 defense. We don't even try. We don't make the other team work for their points. So opponents are getting baskets on easy effort. We can beat the bad teams on talent alone. We can beat good teams if Harden is on fire. Otherwise, we're merely a decent, forgettable team.

Blow it all up.

I just don't see how Capela can be seen as a problem here. For his role, he's a top 5 Center in the league.

Dude is great against teams with unathletic weak bigs. But when playing against the top teams with good centers who are either bigger or nastier, he gets outmuscled and shrivels up. He was basically useless in the playoffs the last 2 years minus a game or two against Utah. He is like that against all of the good teams.

Having said that, he's not the main problem on this team. The main problem with this team is a lack of deep shooters. House, Tucker, Westbrook can't hit the broad side of a barn from 3. When your offense is based on shooting 3s and you can't make 3s, you will struggle.

It's been plenty of games. I am in attendance for many Rockets home games and there are nights when he has really bad hands or is completely dominated. There are also nights when he looks downright amazing.

It is ok to point out flaws in his game. He could have easily notched a 25 point/25 rebound game against Portland.

Ariza and Melo now on the Blazers.

I'm not there tonight but I'd have to imagine that the nexus of ****ty bandwagon lakers fans and the LeBron worshipers is a sight to see.
