I agree. It will be interesting to see how receptive James is to moving away from the iso ball we played most of the season. I have to assume that it isn't just CP and that Dantoni would also like to see more ball movement.

We are only 2 seasons removed from James averaging 11.2 apg and leading the league in that category. I would like to see the offense look more like that than what we ran most of last year.

Of course it's bullcrap. Again I don't get the "we need more ball movement" argument. All of our guys are getting the shots they want. We have bad possessions but so does everybody else. We have the 2nd most efficient offense in the NBA. We're going up against a juggernaut and don't have the talent to play them 5-5. There's a reason everybody says we're the closest team to compete against the Warriors and it's because of the greatness of James Harden and how we play.

In case you're in the same boat as me and these names mean nothing to you, it's basically the whole defensive staff plus the video coordinator. Seems like the offensive staff is staying in tact.

He said this would only happen if the Lakers struck out on their "first 8 options". Still, I couldn't see it.

I could see it. Lebron is best friends with CP3, hates young guys, and runs the Lakers. If Lebron wants him, the Lakers will try to make it happen. As a Rocket though, Lonzo does not move the ball for me unless you are getting a Kuzma or Ingram in return as well and use the cap space on a Jimmy Butler.

I would want all 3 in order to take on ball. He can't shoot for **** and would add nothing to the team

IMO, this would be a good trade for the Rockets. They would clear a lot of cap space (not sure what Lonzo will make '19-'20, so I'm assuming) and may be able to trade Lonzo too. I don't see the league approving this, unless the Lakers put more with Lonzo.

Unless you can get KD, Kawhi, or Anthony Davis, I still don't think they beat the Warriors.

I would trade Paul for Ball. I think the trade makes the Rockets worse but if they sign someone good with the cap space it makes them better over the next several years. Paul is getting noticeably worse each year. I predict that he will miss 20 games due to injury and will be a non-factor against a team like GS in the playoffs next year.
