This is what I see as well. Very low basketball IQ.
He has plenty of talent and potential but has zero basketball IQ, poor work ethic, and had a bad attitude in Phoenix. Here at the game tonight and they played a Luis Scola tribute video. Didn't know he was playing for Shanghai. Teamed up with Jimmer Fredette. Looks like he's in good shape.

He was down on the floor for a long time. Didn't look bad at first glance but getting wheeled out out of here in a chair would definitely say otherwise.

That is probably the worst possible outcome for that particular game. We played an exhibition game against a Chinese team who had a former Rocket, in order to showcase our current Chinese Rocket....and one horrifically injures the other...

At this point I don't think the Wolves would take anything we offered. They just don't want to give up Butler. It is probably what will eventually get Thibs fired.

I see what you are saying but this outburst seems to be symptomatic of his current situation. He has stated that he thinks his teammates aren't serious and are not giving max effort and that seems to be why he was challenging them.
I can't imagine him pulling a stunt like this on a team with Chris Paul leading the way.

Rockets must be having trouble selling out opening night. I have gotten several emails and text offering cheap upper bowl tickets. Have to imagine an Astros home game has something to do with this.
