The Pelicans got better without him. He's another Dwight Howard type
Would you rather rehab for a team that needs you to play as soon as possible or for a team with the best facilities in the nation that doesn't even need you to ever play a minute and also, they are the overwhelming favorite to win a title? If you go to the team that needs you as soon as possible, you score a little extra cash.Iowaggie said:
As I've thought about the cousins situation more, it makes me wonder what his agent was doing.
Even if they received no phone calls, if GS was willing to sign him for $5 mm, why doesn't the agent get on the phone with a few other teams and at least see if they are interested in a 1-year deal for $9 million?
I remember the Kings getting crushed for the somewhat paltry return on the Cousins trade to NO, but the market for him must really be in the crapper. (Although I'm still surprised the Lakers signed who they signed but drew the line on Cousins.)
Only they just signed a guy that plays 36 minutes per game at his same position and happens to be the second best of all time.500,000ags said:
Magic's faith in Ingram and Ball could make or break his tenure. I read Ingram was training with the same sports performance team that was training Oladipo last off-season, in theory, he could be poised for a big season.
Lebron can play any position on the court. Ingram isn't going to come off the bench.Guitarsoup said:Only they just signed a guy that plays 36 minutes per game at his same position and happens to be the second best of all time.500,000ags said:

LeBron spends 98% of his minutes at SF/PF. So does Ingram and Kuzma. We will probably see more of Bron at center. But we probably aren't seeing either Ingram or Bron winding down to play many minutes at SG.M.C. Swag said:Lebron can play any position on the court. LBJ is the most flexible player in the league. Classifying his min by 'traditional roles' is meaningless. He's more of a Point Forward than anything. Perfect mesh with any team. (Lonzo and Rondo on the other hand...i have no idea why they signed Rajon or how they plan to use him)Guitarsoup said:LeBron spends 98% of his minutes at SF/PF. So does Ingram and Kuzma. What the Lakers are going to do with minutes will be very interesting.
Lonzo/Rondo
KCP/Hart
Ingram/Stephenson
LeBron/Kuzma
Javale/Mo/Zubac
Good luck with that locker room, Walton.

The Lakers are going to suck. The dust is clearing from their FA moves. And supposedly, guys like Rondo, Stephenson, and JaVale are apart of this master plan for LeBron to play closer to the basket and reduce his usage rate. I must be missing something because that looks like a borderline lottery team to me.
