The Warriors have got to be up there as one of the least respected dynasties of all time even though they're one of the greatest teams ever.

Everyone realizes they were the result of a perfect storm due to curry injuries and contracts + new cap and nobody outside of NorCal gives a **** about em.

Toss in the fact that KD made fun of Bron for going to Miami to get a ring then fled to GS and its just not interesting.

Most telling is Kerr is gone for how long and Walton goes like 26-3 or something?

I have no problem with GSW. They did a lot of things right too, to get to where they got. Drafted Curry, Thompson, and Green themselves. They won a title and had a 73-win season BEFORE Durant. Yes, they entered 'unfair' now with Durant, but Lakers/Celtics in 80's, Bulls in the 90's, the Lakers three-peat team with Shaq & Kobe...it isn't like a super dominant team for a stretch of several years is some new NBA thing.

And when you are watching a player like Curry make those shots, or Klay, you are watching guys who have literally spent thousands of hours practicing and doing shooting drills to get that skilled. You are watching guys who are the best in the world at shooting a basketball. That is something as a basketball fan that I can appreciate watching.

It's not the Warriors' fault that Durant wanted to play for them. You're not going to turn him down because it might be unfair for the rest of the league.

Don't think anyone here is saying that. The Warriors literally said they didn't need him when they pitched to him. It's just that it's a crazy ****ing team they put together. So crazy that the second best player in the league is an afterthought.

The Warriors, as currently constructed, will continue to be a hot button topic for NBA enthusiasts. Like HNIC said, the Warriors didn't need him, but Durant was willing to take the "easy way out" to join a 70+ win team and knew it was his easiest path to getting some rings. I will admit that my takes on KD are a bit hypocritical though. If I had a chance to make millions, get the hell away from OKC and Westbrook, live in the Bay Area, and pick up some rings along the way it would sound too good to be true and I would jump on that opportunity.

As a fan I don't have to like it, but I can understand it.

Pro teams ruthlessly dump and trade players all the time. It is a cold-hearted business. Just recently, both Blake Griffin and Isaiah Thomas were traded by the Clippers and Celtics respectively to places that were not of their choice. Anyone think Griffin is happier in Detroit right now than he was living in Los Angeles? And those were just a couple of high profile guys. Many more similar decisions happening all the time involving lesser players.

So it would be a bit hypocritical to beat too much on a guy like Durant (or LeBron before him) who happened to have enough talent and independent power to choose for himself where he wanted to go play. In Durant's case, he has been interviewed several times on the topic, and it was clear that he loved the Warriors style of play and felt it was the best place that he could go to earn championship rings. Which, yeah, it probably was.

Yahoo has an uncut version of the break after JR's **** up. You can see LeBron ask Ty Lue if they had any timeouts left. The moment he hears yes, he just broke down for a second. Damn.

Does that look like a player who isn't going to at least think about jumping onto another super team this summer? Durant gets to play with Curry and Klay while LeBron has moments like this to remember that he picked JR Smith.

Wish Lebron and Kerr would do a bit more virtue signaling. That would make this series more watchable.

They were asked a question. They answered it.

Yes, but Lebron should not have answered the question. It's a bad look for a guy who is not even going to get to make the choice.

He should have been thrown out the game. Running down the court after a foul called on him screaming cuss words at the top of his lungs.

Warriors somehow didn't get 1 shooting foul called against them even though the Cavs drove to the hoop at will in first half.

Lack of freebies hurting now. GSW on the move. This is the fear when LBJ is passive early. Can take him a long time to get into a shooting rhythm.

I'm 0% surprised the refs lean towards GS, even on the road

This is my first game to watch this series. I have seen missed calls both ways but nothing overly one sided.

Series over. Cavs missed a big opportunity tonight. Way too much KD. And yet I feel tough to are too much about his incredible performance.
Bunk Moreland

Nah, calls weren't one sided tonight. It was just a bizarre lack of calls when the Cavs were shooting in traffic to not have one whistle blow in the first half.
