Again, I'm somewhat a casual observer but I've seen Harden quit in games before -- I just don't think he's going to be the guy that is going to eat/sleep/breathe basketball, even if it does improve his game a % point or two.

You can't tell me 4 straight years of Warriors Cavs in the finals is good for the NBA.

Are you really going to argue that a defense that absolutely flattened a team that can't match our hustle and intensity all of the sudden just decided to play finesses? They were literally allowed to get away with screens where they shoved us to the side. That's another three ****ing points for you. Add on Gordon's mauling, there's another two. Plenty more than that.

Yup, but not a great one. And this was the win now year. CP's injury obviously ruined everything, but there's not much hope for the future.

How do you know you will not make them? I would say their shooting % over a lot more shots during season is more indicative of ability than a stretch during this game so that means they are actually more likely to make to even out % as game goes on.

He's a David Price. He's gonna put up incredible regular season #'s and be one of the biggest reasons his team is in a great position to win.

But he's not a guy that you want to hand the ball to in a make-or-break game.

True. Harden didn't make 3's either. And he turns the ball over.

Bottom line...Hard to beat a team like GS while missing 25+ straight 3's. That is just an absurd statistic.

Even so, do you not ageee the second superstar is needed when playing against 4?

Look, the best player in the freaking world, possibly ever, has played them three times and one only once. I want harden to be great too, but if LeBron can only do it once, do you really expect Harden to do it?

No one is going to excuse making 3s. But playing against the Warriors is playing against a stacked deck. The Rockets defended about as well as they could, but the price they paaid was with their legs. Yesterday's game wasn't any different. Horrible shooting.

You have to defend three future HOF shooters. In their prime. Layer on the horrible officiating. Its an uphill battle from the jump.

The Warriors are going to win....& it wont even be contested. & hopefully Chris Paul can convince LeBron to come this way.

I don't disagree with all the bs they were getting away with but we make just 50% of those wide open 3's and it's a different game. Regardless of the officiating you can't win with that kind of piss poor shooting.

Typically, the team that trades a superstar loses the trade. Seems like that, anyway. Even if Harden is a huge step below James, Curry, etc. He won't anchor a championship but it's better than winning 40 games a year.
