Here's the clip again. After watching it again, I just can't believe they're allowed to get away with that. There was no foul, and the whistle was after the buzzer. Unbelievable.

Curry was open because Klay basically body checked harden into the stands. They will never call that but it was about as illegal of a screen as you can get.

Random off day thought.

We came close to getting Redick. I wonder how much he would've played in this rotation. Liability on defense but can stroke from 3. Kinda like Gerald Green but without the grit. Could have sort of filled in Anderson's role had we known Anderson would have played himself out of the rotation.

And kurr knows they won't call that.

Even more reason to miss the free throw

With .5 left there is not enough time to grab the rebound, come down with the ball, reload and fire a length of the court shot. Even if there was a full second left I still miss on purpose. You go to OT you ain't winning that game anyways.

Making that free throw knowing that golden state had a TO and could inbound at half court was borderline insanity and dantoni and Paul both had a complete lack of situational awareness on that play.

I mean that's right up there with Kennedy not knowing the rule and having tavario Miller shoot the free throws against Kentucky 2 years ago bad
If GS rebounds the ball and immediately calls timeout, they advance the ball to midcourt. You don't really believe that the refs would leave anything less than 0.3 on the clock in that situation, do you?

No bc i don't feel like Golden state isn't going to cleanly grab a rebound with 4 rockets fighting for it.

Just my opinion but with a solid free throw shooter like Paul who can put the ball where he wants for the most part, I think he could quite easily throw the ball off the backboard while still hitting the rim (I've seen him do it multiple times before) and give no chance of a clean rebound.

I think that's a lot safer than curry shooting a wide open 25 footer in front of our bench for the tie but that's just me...but I do agree the insane foul and refs clock miscalculation in the plays leading up to that possibly influenced the decision.

Missing the free throw is the right decision, but only if you are certain you will hit rim.

There's a scary high percentage of "miss on purpose" free throws that miss everything. That happens and suddenly Golden State has time to setup a play to win it, not just tie.

Add to that you probably aren't going to have 4 Rockets fighting for a rebound only up 2 because of the potential of picking up a BS foul sending Golden State to the line to tie the game.

So with all the unknowns, I'd say just try and make it.

I personally really like Redick as a player but I'm not sure where his role is in this team. I think he could be a good guy to sub in for Harden, but again, Hou already has that role. In rare instances where CP3 & Harden need to sit, then Redick would obviously be a great fill in guy next to Gordon.

But as the roster currently sits, the only player I could potentially see him carving minutes from is Gerald Green (but it wouldnt be much as Green's responsibility on defense is vastly different than what Redick can/would do).

And Klay caught the pass from Durant without establishing himself in-bounds. It's hard to tell for sure, but it looked like he caught the pass without even stepping in bounds once before touching the ball.

Gerald Green was signed in late December after Luc Mbah a Moute was injured. He is a good guy that is very happy to be in Houston. He is a solid bench player that works hard and has a passion to win.

He had a few like that where he would hide behind the backboard then sneak into corner.

Love Gerald Green, I just wish he would take more time with his 3's before chucking them up while falling to the right or left. I know we like to take a ton of 3's but if it's not there don't force it with a bad 3.

I'm not sure there's such a thing as a "bad 3" for Gerald Green. He's just as likely to hit a fall away 3 with a hand in his face as he is to hit a wide open jumper. He's a streaky shooter and has to shoot to be able to get into that streak. I would prefer him to be in jacking up wild 3s than Ryno to be in and afraid to shoot.

Interesting conversation I heard on the radio today.

If you were given court side tickets to your choice of game would you choose Gm 5 or Gm 7?

On one hand you're guaranteed to go to Gm 5, but on the other hand you possibly see a WCF Gm 7 and may even see the Rockets close it out at home. But also Gm 7 may not happen and then you're SOL and you didn't see any game.

there's a pretty good chance this goes 7 so I would probably risk it and take that game.

Game 5 because it's guaranteed and the series is tied 2-2

Game 5 will feel just as intense as a game 7. We don't want to have to win another game in Oakland and they don't want game 7. Tomorrow night will be insane

Re-watched the highlights just now. For the amount of criticism Harden gets for "disappearing late in games," ESPN and these other media outlets don't seem to be talking about Durant...

With 4 minutes left in the game, he threw a 3-pointer off the backboard and missed badly.
30 seconds later, he shot a fade-away mid-range jumper off the top of the backboard, and missed again.
With a minute left in the game, Klay missed, Draymond got the rebound, threw to Steph who then missed a 3, all while Durant was standing at the half-court line
And lastly, he gave the ball up to Klay with 5 seconds to play

Obviously I hope we beat these guys in order to win a championship...but I hope GSW getting eliminated finally ends the lack of criticism from the media

if it doesn't go 7 it's because we lost it in 6, and if we are going to lose the series I don't care if I miss a game 5 loss. On the other hand a game 7 at home would be amazing.

7 and it's not even debatable.

Game 4 was the Rockets game 7 as is Game 5. Anything can happen of course but I'd have a hard time picking the Rockets to win at Golden State again. I'd take the Game 5 tix because it's going to be just as loud.
The conversations will be uncomfortable, but we all have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable for progress to be made.

Just saw on the Cavs-Celtics pregame that 83% of the time the game 5 winner in a 2-2 best of 7 series goes on to win that series.

Yeah but if they can't go they can't go. Klay hobbling up and down the court is useless to them.

He looked pretty bad walking through the tunnel last night. Pretty visibly limp.

Will the East team representative have any chance against the west representative in the finals? 5 games max? Interested to see betting lines. Rockets Warriors games seem to be on another level compared to these snooze fest Cavs Celtics games.
