Before this game gets under way, lets take a sane/level-headed view of what is about to happen.
We are missing our 2nd best player and arguably our best and most important player in this series. We are the top seeded western conference team because of CP3's efforts this year and his contributions were essential to every win over GS in this series.
Consequently, We have a very poor chance of winning this game. So, if we lose...not matter how we lose....please don't overreact Rockets' fans. There is a really really good chance most of you will be upset at Harden at the end of this game. He might disappear down the stretch....we know he does this when he has no chance.
Just properly measure your expectations if this thing goes south early...

We haven't played a perfect game yet and still we have three wins. A hobbled Chris Paul out there for 10 minutes was not going to be the difference anyway. Harden is certainly capable of being his best and carrying the team on his back, maybe with a little help.

Jeez man, you act like you are preparing a bunch of snowflakes to enter the workforce. Can we just cross our fingers and root like hell for the good guys and hope for something great before we start passing out the tampons?
Great post. There will definitely be bleeders post game no matter what Harden does. This is one of the greatest teams in nba history. No shame in losing in 7. Who knows, every dynasty ends eventually. Let's make it tonight.
I absolutely agree. I will say that it SHOULDN'T require Chris Paul to at least take care of the ball. I won't be happy with a lot of turnovers again.
Load up the trebuchet and let 'er rip...the upside with a win would be legendary.

I think this game will be a classic. If it is a defensive street fight, then I expect the Rockets to win. It We will see plenty of turnovers without CP3. For all of Harden's strengths he is often careless with the ball and that is only compounded when he starts a play with 7 seconds on the shot clock and is forced to rush the possessions. And, to be fair, Harden is exerting strong effort on the defensive end which we will need again tonight. So fatigue is part of those turnovers and decisions.
However, if we can "ugly" the game with tenacious defense and out-hustling the Warriors, then it will come down to who hits a big shot in the final period.

I've never watched the Rockets pregame before. Does the PA announcer do the "who gives a ****" tone for the visitors at every game? Never heard that at a professional sporting event before.
