Yeah I've been surprised at how short of a rotation we seem to be using and not trying to get James more rest. I'd like to see him minutes come down a bit.

Yea but with CP3 in the fold, he can hand off a lot of the offensive burden he was putting all on himself last year. BOth CP3 and Harden should be more fresh for the playoffs. Plus, we seem to be earning a lot of blowouts and avoiding a lot of the high intensity, high leverage situations that are exponentially exhausting.

And I don't subscribe to the idea that the majority of what happened to Harden in Game 6 was just exhaustion. I think he just mentally quit.

The blowouts definitely help but there have been several 4th quarters when the game is in hand and James is still out there grinding for stats. Other teams seem to rest their superstars in the 4th more often with big leads.

I guess there are worse problems to have than worrying about your starters minutes in the many blowouts we have had so far this season.

I haven't watched the Rockets much this year, but it seems you guys have a really good team on your hands.

I know it's still November but the attendance this year has been horrible, especially considering we have won 16 out of our first 20.

Hopefully people will start showing up and supporting this team soon.

Yeah, it was pretty spotty last night. I know it was a Monday and all, but 123 seemed maybe 2/3 full, and that may be generous.

Bidding on Flash seats needs to come back, though.

I was just looking at the Western Conference playoff projections as of today:

1. GS 64
2. HOU 61
3. SA 49 ( that's low, probably mid 50s but won't make a diff)
4. OKC 47 (their record is bad now, but they'll figure it outa nd they still have a good differential)
5. POR 46
6. MIN 45
7. DEN 44
8. NO 42

This seems spot on to me and that 5-8 I can see shuffling around based on a game here or there.

As a Rockets fan, however, this seems pretty damn ideal. First round I'd rather have Denver otu of the possible options. The biggest drawback would be playing in Denver on the road. But, I think that's a matchup we'd eat alive. They don't have the horses to hang with our back court. Then second round we'd have SA, who obviously beat us last year and have the greatest coach of all time, but give me old SA at the end of a season with questionable depth and no Jonathan Simmons over OKC who looks like they can be absolutely terrifyign when they lock in like they did against GSW last week.

I also like that it would pit GS against NO first round. NO, out of all the options, would make them work out of their comfort zone, because you have two of the best big men in the league to contend with and it'd be a very physical series. Anthony Davis is one big you can't run off the court with the death lineup. I'd hope that NO + OKC would at least make GSW work in their first two rounds.

I usually go to more games, but since they completely disabled bidding on FlashSeats I have gone much less so far this year. I think they should at least enable it for the games that are not considered marquee matchups. Hard to get people jazzed up about a Wednesday night game against the Pacers.

Same for me. It's idiotic that they say they are protecting the season ticket holders by disabling bidding. So keeping them from selling their tickets is protecting them?

We went last night because we found a guy on craigslist willing to sell lower bowl tickets for $25 each. That's what I'm used to paying.

And honestly for a Wednesday night game against the Pacers that is not unheard of. They could definitely manage it better. I don't want them to screw over the season ticket holders but I would imagine most would rather sell for something versus taking nothing and eating the cost.

I was wondering why I hadn't been receiving a flood of emails with people lowball bidding on my available tickets. They also wont let me sell my tickets for any less than 80% of my face value, which isn't a new thing. I guess that sets the bottom of the market but there are night that I just want to get rid of my tickets for whatever I can get and there are just so many tickets priced exactly like mine.

Luckily I have been able to sell a few of the big games for way over face value and make back some money to put towards next years renewal.

I think that is the problem. If you can only price it at 80% of face but so can everybody else you have no competitive edge. Then add in the fact that bidding is disabled and it makes it even worse. I just don't get the logic for disabling bidding on games like last night that are not marquee matchups and occur on a weekday. Should you be forced to sell to someone bidding $5, $10, etc.? Absolutely not. However, that is your call and like you said you would rather get whatever you can versus nothing.

They have lowered the price floor to 60-70% for most games but buyers are still having to pay the 23% fee on top of that.

If games look like a dud, PM me and I will sell y'all my tickets for cheaper than Flash prices with all their fees.

Y'all should also check other websites besides Flash, I list mine on Stubhub and thousands of other websites and lots of times they will be under the Flash price floor.

You won't get your tickets instantly like Flash but most of the time I send tickets to the buyers within 3-5 minutes.

No bidding and 20% buyer's fee make it way too pricey.
