Reminds me of the Chris Bosh "done deal" reports a few years back.

I'd say yes, but this isn't the Knicks front office we're dealing with. It's just Jimbo saying yes or no.

The melo trade was a done deal with Phil as GM but they fired him before we could complete the deal. Doesn't matter though bc melo's ball stopping would cause problems here just like in OKC rn.

Well the team has seemed to quit on him lately and Marc Gasol had an uncharacteristic rant aimed at him yesterday after being benched for the 4th quarter in a loss against the Nets at home. I guess it bubbled over into firing Fizdale.

Having either CP or James on the floor at all times is working well.

We have been feasting on these lollipop teams and what feels like a very favorable schedule in terms of days off and Home/road splits, wonder when the tough part of the schedule is coming.

Looking at the schedule, I realized that this is really a lollipop league and there really isn't a murderers row upcoming. A lot of the teams that were supposed to be good in the west just haven't been or have been struggling with injuries. March seems like the toughest month, but there's nothing you point to and say, oh man we are fudged for that stretch.

The schedule has been incredibly light to this point and will be for a little while. It is crazy that we are only playing 3 games over the next 9 days.

Yep, the added 2 weeks really helped stretch things out giving guys more rest. Helps us as Harden always has a heavy load.

I have been a little worried about how Pringles has been managing the minutes for Harden so far this season. If I remember correctly after we **** the bed in game 6 against the Spurs last season the talk was James was exhausted. He played 36.4 minutes per game last season and has averaged 36 MPG so far this season.

I am assuming that Harden will start to see his MPG go down now that CP is back full time but I can't help but think Pringles is going to push James to the limit again chasing the MVP that he should have won last year.
