I think I'm 20 times less emotional than the average fan in this thread when their hero gets questioned.

Kobe isn't a Top 10 player. Top 15.
Wilt
Kareem
Russell
Shaq
Lebron
Jordan
Magic
Bird
Duncan
Olajuwon
Oscar
Kobe fits in right after that in the next few players probably. Just wanted to make sure and list at least 10 that are in front of him.

Tim Duncan wasn't the best player on 3 of his titles. Robinson, Parker, Claw all lead the way. Most could only dream of having teammates that good. Next thing yall will tell me is Draymond is as good as Dream because he's about to win his second title.
You can't at all be serious.Quote:

Maybe if you watched the games and not relied on stats you'd know.
So you pretty much admit Kawhi, Parker, and Manu were as good or better than Duncan in 3 of the years. Call a spade a spade. Duncan was given the perfect opportunity to win a bunch of rings. Put Malone, Dream, Barkley, KG, etc in the same position and they likely win those 3 rings too.Deputy Travis Junior said:Disagree.aggie1906 said:

1999: '99 Duncan was better than '99 Robinson.
2003: Duncan, not even close
2005: Duncan, though Manu had a great postseason. 21ppg for the entire postseason with blistering shooting percentages.
2007: This one's tough to say. Other than the Phoenix series, San Antonio's 2007 playoff run was such a massacre that it didn't even matter who the best player was (and nobody clearly rose to the top). That Finals in particular was absolutely embarrassing. The Spurs played like they were uninterested/hungover for long stretches and still easily swept it (while shutting down LeBron).
2014: Kawhi was the best player in the Finals, though that was an incredibly balanced team.
That's actually not what anyone said.Quote:

I always assumed that no one could block a Sarunas Marciulionis layup. You and Hakeem proved me wrong.Hi, Im Brett said:they were added without commentGuitarsoup said:

They want to feel relevant and this is the only way someone is going to interview them and put them in the national spotlight?aggie1906 said:
Move on to Harden because you know your silly argument about being a bad teammate doesn't hold water. Why do you think guys like Kenny Smith, Robert Horry, Mad Max go to bad for Hakeem 25 years later? They know he never gets the credit he deserves. They know about his greatness. They know he was fantastic to play with and a true leader.

So there you have it. Who's word would you take: that of Duncan's third longest-tenured teammate or one of a former player who left disgruntled and still hasn't gotten over it nine years later?
What does this have to do with anything? Nice shoe-in of an encounter with Hakeem.Quote:
I first met Dream around 81 at Fonde, he had been playing ball for only about 3 years or so.
