I didn't see the Kawhi injury live and I was expecting to see something way more egregious than what I saw in the replay after reading some comments in here.

No way was that intentional. Sure, the defender could have done more to ensure he didn't interfere with Kawhi's landing, but that's not his job.

It's a shame he went down, was hoping the Spurs would win this series.

It is a foul if you don't give the shooter space to land. By definition, it is his job to give him space to land....

Your opinion on the matter means very little after getting the most important part of the issue wrong.

If it was anyone but Zaza I think people would be less fired up, but he's a goon. Remember the game when he was on the Mavs where he leg-whipped Danny and tried to Olynyk Kawhi's arm?

True, Zaza has a history, but It would be bigger if it had been the Nut Kicker who had done it because he's a bigger name for Sports Center.

Yes, it was a foul and he was called for it. It was not dirty nor intentional.

Pop should put Dedmon in for Game 2 for 15 seconds - just enough time for him to go Goon Squad on Zaza and/or Draymond's kneecaps

It was intentional. Do you think ALLLLLL these people who talk/write about basketball for a living would be bringing it up if it wasn't dirty?

I'll admit he couldn't possibly have placed his foot in the exact square it needed to be for Kawhi to land on it, but that isn't even close to the point. He wasn't contesting a shot. He was trying to get under Kawhi so he didn't have a flat place to land.

If you think otherwise, you're just a Spurs hater or an idiot.

No, you don't go after those two, you would go after Steph & his ankles. (Although, I don't believe anything will happen)
And the Warriors are quite aware of guys going under jump shooters.

Saw in one of the media articles today that Iguadola for the Warriors did not play in the second half because of a sore knee. And they are expecting the Warriors to not play him in tomorrow's game. Since Game 3 is on Saturday they will probably take advantage of the 6 days of rest.

Not as huge a loss like losing Kawhi for the Spurs, but a notable loss as Iguadola is an important guy in their rotation.

Yeah I guess you are right. If DRAYMOND GREEN does this, nobody cares.

Seriously, I think the Internet would explode if it was Draymond to do this.

Just because he doesn't go and run his mouth like punk ass Draymond doesn't mean he isn't thinking it.

I'm pulling for the Spurs. I just don't think that Kawhi's ankle problems (he's hurt it three times in two games now) are due to any intentional act.

You still have your loser Rockets goggles on, guy.

Zaza knew exactly what he was doing. He has his entire crap career. GS probably woulda won this series even if they lost G1 yesterday, but this scumbag play guarantees they advance. I really hope Tristan Thompson knocks him on his dirty ass in the finals.
