Hey, apparently we beat the rockets in Houston tonight. Didn't get to watch, but patty hit a go ahead 3 to win it. Always good to beat a team that's been playing as well as the rockets have been.

I watched only the last 30 seconds of that game.

For sure shouldn't have won. Made some shots/plays late. Patty is the man.

If by lucky you mean playing good D and making 8 3s in the 4th quarter then I'll take it. They were sloppy with the basketball but came through in the clutch.

There aren't too many teams I would rather beat than the James Harden Rockets!

There were some nice steals in the 4th too.

WTF We won the game in Houston. Thee Spurs outplayed them in the first half and the 4th qtr and had a bad 3rd. I'm not sure what the hell yall were watching. Sometimes you play a bad qtr and win because you have a team full of professionals that know how to win.

Down 13 with 4.5 minutes left on the road and I can't say we shouldn't have won?

Danny was great. He had a tough load to carry guarding Harden almost the entire game but he still made some great shots from deep and had a fantastic rebound in the final minute. Manu was clutch, despite a few "Manu turnovers." A few uncharacteristic missed free throws from Kawhi, Tony and Manu but stuck with it and pulled out an awesome win on the road. Very happy overall.

OK OK I guess it's fair to say. But I watched the last 4 1/2 minutes and everyone on the court was playing like they were possessed and from that perspective they definitely earned the win. It wasn't luck. They got multiple steals and they finally got Danny, Manu and Patty the ball behind the arc. All 3 had been pretty hot all night but just never got the chances.

The rockets going 6/38 (or closer to it) from 3 also helped.

Spurs are pretty incredible at guarding the 3. They took a lot of contested looks. Don't get it twisted.

I know this has been mentioned on this thread before but I think as Spurs fans we don't realize just how blessed we are with this organization. This year I have seen more complaining about bad play and the offense not hitting their stride and the defense being below par but at the end of the day the Spurs are in 2nd place in the West with the 2nd best record in the NBA. They have beaten the team with the best record and have the best road record of anyone in basketball.

To say that we as Spurs fans are spoiled is an understatement. Only 1 losing season since 1990 and that is the only season they missed the playoffs in that timespan.

The truth is, I don't think we really know what "BAD" basketball is. Of course our guys have had bad games, but in many cases 1) they win anyway in spite of a bad game or 2) they use it as an incentive to play even better the next game. We just don't know what it's like to be a team like the Lakers, Heat or Celtics who had success then lost a star player or two and went downhill.

I don't like to sound elitest but when it comes to basketball the Spurs are the elite. They are always relevant and whether they admit or not other fans wish their team was as good as ours!

Both Gasol and Parker are sitting tonight in Portland, as well as Manu who was scheduled to rest a few days ago.

Good game yesterday on Christmas. LA had an excellent game shooting 75% from the field. They jumped on the Bulls and even though they let them back in you could just kinda tell that the Spurs weren't going to lose this one. Finished well and gained a game on GS.

Was at the game yesterday. 1st quarter was great. LA couldn't miss. Finally the game a lot of Spurs fans were waiting from him. Really opened up a lot of other looks in the second half. With CP3 out and losing a few Spurs have firm grasp on 2nd in West.
