I would be very surprised.TXAG14 said:

If nothing else, I think we learned tonight that a 7 man rotation isn't going to cut it. The entire team was gassed in the fourth when we had them on the ropes with the momentum.
We need an 8th player to step up.
Lebron played 46/48 minutes in game 4 and didn't lose his legs. James lost his legs today and he only played 43/53. 38/48 in regulation. He needs to get more conditioned.

Comparing Lebron to James Harden is ****ing laughable.
That's like arguing someone should be able to race on pace with Usain Bolt because they're fast. Lebron is a generational freak talent who could play baseball, basketball, and football. Harden is physically limited in comparison, with his only freak talent being his ability to decelerate on a dime.
Yep. Exactly. This series is basically for the Texas State NBA title. I could see both teams getting swept by the Warriors, sadly.Quote:
Neither this Houston or Spurs team has much of a shot against beating Golden State.
Me too. I think Rockets shoot lights out in another blowout win.CFTXAG10 said:I would be very surprised.TXAG14 said:

If Leonard is not 100% because of that ankle, then that plus Parker already being out...I would like Houston's chances to win the next one.
I personally think this series goes to a game 7.
He was exhausted, Other than the horrible OT, I thought he played one of his better all round games of the season. Last night was the first time I can remember he showed true effort on D. That's not a knock on him, a lot of offensive players are given a pass on D. Harden played a complete game, had a triple double, defended LMA fairly well (certainly better than expected), and just ran out of gas.cr0wbar said:
Harden had to be hurt, or exhausted, probably both. Those 4-5 possessions looked something reminiscent of Mchale several seasons ago of ISO ball and no one moving/screening. I specifically remember late in the 3rd Harden expecting a high screen from Clint and instead he chucks up a 3 several feet behind the line? Unfortunately, I think that was the series. We'll win big at home and lose Game 7 by double digits.
While this is true, Harden pretty much single handedly gave OT to the Spurs with his ridiculous turnovers and pass to Gordon for the shot.tremble said:
I also don't understand how we're ragging on Harden when this happens:
Ariza: 3/10 FG, 3/8 3PT
Gordon: 4/13 FG, 1/6 3PT
Williams: 3/10 FG, 0/5 3PT
Two of those guys are on this team specifically to shoot 3PT shots. Hit your damn shots.
I frankly can't care all that much about it either way because the Warriors are going to win the next couple of championships without breaking a sweat. Until Harden gets another bonafide superstar next to him there isn't much drama in the NBA.

Hate coming into work and people that don't follow the Rockets all year want to talk to you about how much James Hardens sucks
But what are the realistic odds of the Rockets winning game 7 in SA?Pumpkinhead said:If Leonard is not 100% because of that ankle, then that plus Parker already being out...I would like Houston's chances to win the next one.TXAG14 said:

Still don't understand how Trez isn't getting some playing time....even if it's just to go in for a few minutes to spell Capela and not have to worry about foul trouble.CFTXAG10 said:
I owe an apology to CoachRTM. I think I might have downplayed the role of Nene. Even though he was only averaging 6 points and 3 boards so far through 3 games he was still out there giving us 16-17 minutes and you could trust him as a Vet. Pretty clear Dantoni wanted to avoid using Trez or Dekker but he is going to have to pull an extra body or two in there so we aren't gassed by the 4th quarter. Wish we had experimented with that in game 5 versus making the change in an elimination game though.
I think the odds of winning game 7 will be about the same as they were as winning game 5.BTKAG97 said:But what are the realistic odds of the Rockets winning game 7 in SA?Pumpkinhead said:If Leonard is not 100% because of that ankle, then that plus Parker already being out...I would like Houston's chances to win the next one.TXAG14 said:

What does everyone think the NBA wants?
Though I think GS/SA would be a more competitive matchup, I think GS/HOU would be more interesting to watch. And, yes, I know, logically, that does not make complete sense.
